About the teacher

Hi, my name is Mrs.Johnson.  I am an elementary education educator from OPSU. I decided to be an elementary teacher because I have always enjoyed helping other people learn new things. I think my real passion for education started during junior high. I often helped my peers with their assignments and felt a real joy when they would begin to understand a subject better. I continued to enjoy helping people in class all throughout high school and the joy of seeing someone learned was even higher. I even tutored an elementary age student and it was amazing to see the progress he made that year. The older I get the more I enjoy teaching people new things. I have learned so many valuable lessons on how to educate future students. As the teacher of this class I will do my best to make sure all of my students feel confident that they can accomplish great things and that they are capable of learning anything. I will also create a positive environment so that my students always feel welcome and I will make sure they are kind to each other.
